Shaping our Thoughts

There’s a direct connection between what we think and what we feel. We have so many thoughts (billions!) every moment. Most of these thoughts are unconscious- but it’s amazing how many of the conscious ones we pay little to no attention to.

Often times, our work begins with slowing down and noticing what’s going on in there- between our ears. That awareness is HUGE because it opens the door to working with our thoughts.

I always think of a shapeless mound of clay when it comes to working with our thoughts. We can mold the clay however we like. We can talk back to it with more accurate thinking. We can add positive self talk to it. We can just watch it and notice it with the lightest of touches.

We are the observers of the thought. The feeling. We get to choose what space it takes up in our life.
